This is my reading task about vowels. We learned about what vowels are and where they go in a word. It was fun because you had to guess what the word was.
Can you crack the code?? One way to make notes is to just write down words without any vowels. Each of the following sentences will make sense if you add some vowels back in.
Rhinos have big horns on their noses.
A lion’s roar can be heard from eight kms away.
Lions have hair that grows in the top of their heads to there shoulders.
Penguins are flightless birds.
Kiwi are endangered animals and are only found in NZ.
Hawks hunt smaller animals and fish in shallow waters.
Daddy long legs are the most poisonous spiders in NZ.
Kiwis have brown feathers long beaks and 1 eye on each side of there face. They are native to New Zealand.
